This year we became official organizers of Global Game Jam in Kazakhstan for the first time.

Global Game Jam is the world’s largest game creation hackathon. Simultaneously in 100+ countries, thousands of people receive a secret theme and create a working game prototype in 48 hours. It’s an entry point for anyone who wants to try game development, not a competition for professionals.
Why Does This Matter?
GameDev is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. According to analysts, the global video game market has exceeded $200 billion and continues to grow. At the same time, the barrier to entry is lowering: Unity, Unreal, and Godot provide tools that were previously available only to large studios.
Global Game Jam is an opportunity to:
- Try it: whether you’re 16 or 40. Whether you’re a programmer, an artist, or just have an idea
- Build a team: find like-minded people and create something together over a weekend
- Enter the industry: top participants join our GameDev accelerator with access to publishers
Our Track Record
In 2025 at Digital Bridge, we organized a GameZone of 400 m²: 48 indie studios, 130+ participants, with Playrix, MyTona, and AppQuantum as partners. Now we’re scaling this across the country.

Who Works in GameDev
Code is only part of it. The industry needs screenwriters, artists, sound designers, game designers. Here creativity converts into products that millions buy.
If you ever thought “what if I tried?”, this is your moment.
